Throttle position sensor on back order - Ugh

    Well, I just got the call from the service dept. The throttle position sensor that they ordered is on back order. He said maybe another week to wait for it. I told him that he might have it for a few months if it is coming from Japan because of the problems there. I guess I will have to drive the "loaner" Prius until then. GRRRR

    Aren't you the same guy who was called out for whining and complaing about your truck and experiences in multiple threads?

    If you want a TPS so bad, go out and buy one from somewhere other than the dealer.

    That I don't mind driving back and forth to work. I am saving money driving it. Yeah, these gas prices are getting bad again.

    Just curious, why do you need a new TPS? Is it related to high or erratic idle?
