I had a 2011 Nissan Titan before my 2021 Tacoma. Had it for like a years, never got comfortable driving it in small parking lots, or parking in general. Probably never going back to a bigger truck after falling in love with my Tacoma.

My hate runs deep too. I hate the new tacomas because they look like new tundras

Oh let me goof around a bit. This fuckin parking structure I'm in is mostly old ppl and their evs around the capital. I've seen maybe 3 tacomas in town that look like ppl actually give a shit, majority of tacomas I see are bone stock

I'm also real tired of all the jeeps and broncos I see in this town. It's insane

 

You live in the PNW and see mostly bone stock tacomas.....weird. I feel like all I see is modded tacos

 

when I purchased my 90 Toyota truck it was a DLX with SR5 wheels on it and smittybuilt bumpers and nothing else I was so excited to find a basically stock canvas. pretty much after that wires up more lighting added some tweeters in the 4runner pockets in the dash. and threw on a lift and some 33's it now lives its life as my nephews wheeler

Salem is a dull city of older folks, govt employees, ev drivers, and jeep/bronco ppl. I've seen maybe 5 tacomas in 3 years that someone put effort into.

For context, my room mate drives a jeep and has been "ducked" at least 10 times when we are out and about, while I've probably explained why my DRLS are amber an equal 10ish times to older white dudes driving a trd limited's or white trd sports lol

Regardless it was a shameful self plug, I like my truck. And I was low on coffee this morning
