Backup camera turns on while using Android-Auto

Hi guys. I have this problem: while driving (forward), the reverse camera turns on by itself. This problem often happens when I'm using Android Auto. Sometimes everything goes back to normal, and sometimes there's no way to get rid of the rear view. Any idea what could be causing this problem? Besides being a distraction while driving, you also lose the Maps. Tacoma TRD Pro 2018

What head unit you using?

 

Panasonic, entune 2.0

So wondering if the PO botched an 'anytime camera' mod........

 

If it happens while NOT using Android Auto, then it is unlikely to be related to Android Auto, or your phone.

If it happens ONLY while using Android Auto, then is Android Auto wireless or wired?

Did this just start happening, or has it always done this since you purchased the truck? If it just started happening, did you recently change any settings on your phone, or on the head unit?
