Finished up my splash guards, as expected I don’t have a whole lot of material left. I made a plywood template of my oversized design, if you feel like upgrading and want to use it you’re welcome to.
@Digiratus likewise if you pick up some of that EPDM I posted we can cut some new skirts for the redhead

Needs a couple more fasteners and a little final trim

 

Looks good. I definitely need to do mine again. Probably this next winter when I have a lot of front end maintenance planned.

Mine will be custom too because of the annoying TC shock tower bracing. We'll see on that.

 

@Blackdawg have you been keeping tabs on the weather for the Pryor's? The weather report I'm seeing is calling for snow still and night time temps down around/below freezing. Heck even the spot I was planning to go Thursday night has a winter storm watch in affect.

 

So... I just resigned from my job, I can't say what I'm doing next yet but you guys can know really soon

I have two totes (8 bundles) of wood loaded but shit, I don't think it'll be enough. I've been enjoying 80* sunshine days, last weekend the campfire was for company, not warmth. I'm a bit disappointed to be stepping back into winter...

 

Something lined up and a change is necessary, it's a big change but a long time coming. Still have a bit of a fear of the unknown but the salary difference is rapidly helping me overcome that.

 

Congrats. I was hoping you were gonna say you negotiated 30 days of paid time off up front so we could extend our campfire time.

I sure hope you are wrong about this. The last time we went to MT we aborted exactly for this reason.

 

It looks like the weather in Columbus is calling for mid-60s. We could just camp in Monte's driveway the whole weekend.

I dropped a pin on the NOAA website and in the high elevations it was worth but even in the valleys in the Pryor's it was calling for snow and or rain. Either way, I imagine it's going to be a bit sloppy, unfortunately.

 

Well the van is ready mechanically. Fresh oil, new steering damper. Just needs food and clothes and we are ready. Oh and more blankets cuz it's gonna be fucking cold.

 

Up until now, the Pryors sounded like they would be fun.
