2024 NASCAR THREAD

Here's my take on the incident:

The 8 got tight when the 47 forced the issue causing the 8 to strike the wall. The 47 then doored the 8, which was possibly caused by the 8 deciding to no longer drive the Chastain line. Although watching the replay it looks like the 8 was still in the wall when the 47 struck him. The 8 retaliates by giving the bumper and the 47 overcorrects, ending his day. Definitely an overreaction by the 8 but the 47 overcorrecting is what ultimately ended his day.

Post race was just tempers boiling over, particularly for Stenhouse. It's funny how Stenhouse doesn't like it when he gets wrecked but it's ok when he wrecks half the field on multiple occasions.

Watching another Fox angle of the fight, the punch was random. Kyle mentioned that they all struck one another and Stenhouse disagreed. The replay shows the 8 hit the wall first and the 47 strike the 8 as the 8 is still on the wall.

Kyle's Jackman was easily throwing Ricky's crew off the back of the Hauler

 

I was thinking about how that's a guy I want on my side

 

I'm sure his version was that he was just trying to break them up. The way he grabbed him didn't exactly say "just separating you guys."

 

I don’t understand why the pit crew let Ricky over the pit wall let alone up into the pit box. He should have got his ass ripped down the instant he touched it.

 

I think that big dude was there acting like he was doing something with the tires before Kyle walked up. Guy must have played OT in college. He had good footwork and created a nice pocket to protect his driver once Kyle got done saying hi to Rickey dad.

 

I might be in the minority here but, right or wrong, I kind of enjoyed seeing Kyle getting punched. I've wanted to do it myself because of his antics at times.

 

I laughed at Ricky post interview after the wreck when he said hopefully his that someone with hold his watch

He's mellowed out a lot but the frustration is starting to build again. I'd say he's lost probably 90% of his haters since joining the once-proud RCR. The die-hards still stick around though.

 

They should have just let them fight so Ricky could have beat Kyle's ass LOL.

 

Is this going to be a Death Cage Match? My bet is on Ricky.
