Kendon trailers are really nice. FJR forum member has one and used it to trailer his FJR to an event. He has a 3 rail variant that while it has 3 rails it's best suited for one large bike like the FJR loaded in the center or 2 smaller bikes placed outboard on the trailer. Surprisingly well built and sturdy.

Yeah, I'm looking for something that can haul the fatty ST 600+ lbs. all the time, and on occasion bring a buddy's V-Strom 800DE (505 lbs. to start) along. Possibly a 3rd spot in case his son decides he wants to get into bikes.

My utility trailer is overkill for the weight as a tandem with two 3500 lbs axles and the ramp on the back makes it tow like a damn airbrake.

I know what you mean. I have a 6x12 enclosed ramp door cargo trailer with extra height that I bought many years ago to go to Sturgis and Yellowstone. Never pulled it with the Tacoma and not sure how that would be. Consider selling it sometime but it costs me nothing to keep it.

Yeah, I bought my trailer when I got my 2019 Polaris RS1 and used it on the subsequent SxS as well, and it's a good trailer for those. I also had a 2019 Tundra when I bought it. For a bike it is just so much overkill and the ramp on the back hammers MPGs. In the Tundra I got the same MPG with the trailer empty as I did with a 1500 lbs. SxS on it.

Cars and Coffee Saturday, then went to check out that track R6 in LA this Saturday, that was a bust lol

Owner neglected to tell me until I showed up that the motor had been gone through and rebuilt by the previous owner, which is highly suspicious for a bike with 4000 miles, even if it has only been used on the track. The start was a little weird too, and shifting into lower gears was stiff and clunky, although I was only riding it at low speeds so that could be why.

Then Sunday, did a long ride with some friends about a 215 mile loop with a lunch break. Pics of the weekend below, some cool cars at the Cars and Coffee

what did you ride? Didn’t see any white/gold S1K’s while I was there from around 9-10.

I had my new master cylinder installed Friday and woke up early Saturday itching to go out. C&C was the move.

Here’s a few that caught my eye

Man we gotta coodinate sometime haha!

Not on the S1K yet, I only just got the tracking number for the new fairings this morning, so likely won't have it back up for another few weeks :( Was on my R3 (you can just see it in the left of the Julian pic), though we got there fairly late right around 10am you may have already left.

The guy who brought the lego M1K is the curly haired dude leaning down in front of it in the first moto pic. Young guy, kinda weird and a bit of a clout chaser...he's always blowing up a couple of the people I ride with, and shows up with a helmet hoping to get a ride lol. Doesn't have his own bike yet, but the helmet next to it is his.

Went for a ride today. Went up to Alan’s the guy I bought my bike back from. He is in town for a few days and I needed to pick up my service manual, all the bikes receipts and a couple oil filters. It was the first ride on the ohlines rear shock , front fork dump and fill and Ivan’s reflashed ecu.
The suspension is 1000 times better. There is nothing like having a top of the line rear shock. The ecu flash is way better than before with the pcv. The bike shifts smoother up and down, power is just so smooth now. Fuel mileage is better but will know when I go fill up. I went 120 miles today and still have 1/4 tank according to the fuel gauge. It’s a big improvement. The grip puppies I put on came off after 65 miles when I got to Alan’s. I cut them off and in the trash they went. Just too big of a grip.
Next thing I want to do is play with gearing. Stock is 17/45 and I am running 17/43. I have the stock 45 a 41 and 47 rear sprocket and a 16 front. The only one I haven’t tried is the 41 rear but I think that will be too high of a ratio. I can’t remember what t each gearing felt like. I think I will try the most aggressive gearing I have which is 16/47 then adjust from there. I think I may like it just because cruising at a low RPM (3850 @ 60 with 17/43) causes more vibes . I don’t think the engine likes to be that low. It will be fun trying them out though.

I consider suspension upgrades as important as tire upgrades, both with very tangible and effective benefits.

Glad you're enjoying the bike. Or re-enjoying it lol

Ok, I have nothing to go on for a MC trailer but the Kendon 2 bike trailer says that it has an independent torsion suspension that allows you to tow with just one bike on either side? That's the big thing that keeps me from getting a trailer is I want the ability to haul two, but I don't want to lopside it when I'm only hauling one bike. That had me looking at three bike trailers so that there was a center slot. Can a Kendon two bike really haul one heavy bike on one side without issue?

The guy I bought the motorcycle hauler from bought the Kendon two bike hauler for 1000 used but it looked new. Anyway he said they are designed to haul one or two bikes. So yes you can haul one on the side and it’s fine.
