The services you are missing out on, that you probably aren't really missing if you don't want them and/or didn't know you needed since you've never needed them before, include:

• Health report (see example below)
• Calling/connecting you to help if you have an accident
• The ability to remote start your truck from anywhere on earth (key fob remote start works regardless when you are close enough; this works as long as your phone can connect to a cell signal)
• The ability to remotely lock/unlock your doors
• Checking the status of your truck (e.g., lock status, fuel level, mileage, etc.) remotely
• Being reminded if you leave a door open or unlocked
• Finding where you parked your truck
• Etc.

Of course your actual brain also does many of these things. At least they don't charge you to use your heated seats like BMW, or extend your range like Tesla.

If you are interested in what is in your "health report" you can get it from the Toyota website owners area. An example is below. Nothing too earth shattering here.

 

I drove it pick up a few items from Home Depot and then stopped by the local GMC dealer on the way home. I've been wanting to look at Denali Yukons, but they had these electric Hummer trucks on the lot. Took this blue one for a spin on the freeway and around the block. I'm not an EV person, but this was pretty neat. I don't think it's worth the 110k they're asking on the sticker though. I'd prefer a Porsche for that kind of money. Soon...

I’m very satisfied with my limited level of ‘connectedness’ tyvm.

 

Most important connectivity for me: hands connected to steering wheel, butt connected to seat, tires connected to road.
But I'm a geek so I like technology. As long as we have a choice.

No, but the salesman must've mentioned it about 10 times. I suppose pulling away from a curb it could come in handy.

I saw one the other day. Kinda looks like a giant appliance. Sorta, blender-front loading washer-with a built in fridge.

Yep, nothing I need there. I have a truck, my wife however has a rolling smart phone. No thank you, if my vehicle started talking to me I would pull over and set it on fire.

After putting on the 285/75r17 I rubbed pretty badly. Got an alignment to see if they could move the tires as far forward as possible. Still rubbed.

Did some trimming today after watching @ClassyTacos video.

Did some testing and still get a little bit of rubbing so I’ll be trimming some more.

 

How much material did you use? I'm looking to do the same. Thanks!

 

The 36 square foot box got me all 4 doors and then about 60-70% of the back cab wall and floor done. So the second 36 square foot box of the stuff that Amazon delivered this morning should well get the rest of the rear cab floor and the two C pillars.
