    Looks great brushed but agree better painted. Was about to do this too and thought of using undercoating or just flat black.

    But with the recent Serra Toyota 25% off sale on their already 30% off online prices, picked up the DC front left piece recently for $31.85 and shipped free with other things since ordered over $75.

    Yeah was thinking an add a leaf could usefully lift the rear to remove the squat.

    Fock im droooling over all that clean sheet metal. Having a clean frame has done wonders for my overall mental stability but my guy is sunburned and really looks its part as a 22 year old work truck.

    For the longest time my truck would occasionally short when I tried to start it, due to a bad connection on the negative battery terminal. Finally got around to changing the terminals to the military style ones. 30 bucks on Amazon and an hour and a half of work later, they’re looking much better!

    Had the factory clutch and rear main seal replaced this past week by a local dealer. Got them to take pictures of the flywheel before and after resurfacing. Big difference in the clutch pedal, only takes a light press now and the engagement point is a lot lower.

    Moved my cruise control forward and made a little room, roughly +3", in the back passenger corner of the engine bay for an eventual ARB compressor. not having abs helps alot too:rolleyes:

    Just in time to do a little over night camping trip with some friends.

    Needed the re-set in the woods.

    @Kwikvette @dannybubbles

    that spot will fit the arb high output compressor. I have mine mounted to a mounting bracket which utilizes the factory mounting location. Made it super easy to alert and adjust if needed.

    My Vato Zone CVs made it through Rubicon, Red Lake Trail, Niagara Rim (2), Sourgrass (2) and King of Hammers with 35s last year. So far they've done King of Hammers and Sourgrass on 37s this year.

    Eventually I'll do the Solo spindles and RCVs so I can go back to manual hubs... But that's a bunch of coin I don't want to spend right now... and RCVs are just going to move the weak point to the intermediate shaft and ring gear. Which doesn't really excite me.

    But... my original point is if the 1st Gen Tundra CVs become unobtainium... there are other options.

    I prefer a nice exfoliating mud mask to the clay bar.

    The mud produced on late spring snow runs applies exceptionally evenly. :rolleyes:

    J/K you're truck looks great! :thumbsup:

    hahahahha. That's impressive. My truck will eventually get a similar mud patina from our gravel roads out here but its nice to pretend I've got a collectible every once in a while.

    it helps the design is different on the outers than the tacoma CVs and bigger shafts.

    Which is funny given tundras used the same tiny front diff.
