Goody's Typical Mall Crawler Long Travel Build

Today I installed the Stinger 10in Touchscreen Radio Replacement. Was tired of the out of date standard radio these third gens come with. So went and picked up this bad boy, finally I can have android auto and ArcGIS downloaded maps to my system. Overlanding and maintaining land navigation will be a breeze now.

 

I don't like screens, but that one looks super sharp

 

Tinted today. Finally doesn't look like a Fish bowl. Bumpers and the rest of the aftermarket parts are being installed this weekend.

 

Most of all the Mods pre-planned were completed this weekend. Headed to MO tomorrow morning. See you soon STL.

 

I'd like to credit @ProjectRecon for alot of inspiration on this build. @RelentlessFab truly has built some amazing rigs, so was no question about referencing such an amazing build.

Now plans to start rearend replacement with fusion axle and beef up for 37s.

Once I finish my grad school, I plan to really get out some more. But kinda in a dry spell now with my schedule. I still try to do day trips and single night camp outs.

 

I can totally relate, I’m in between big trips right now just doing boring adult stuff. We did a cross country trip in the truck last year and have another one planned for this coming fall though. So I’m getting the truck ready for that.

 

That FWC weighs about 950lbs dry, no? How does it ride on long highway trips with the LT + airbags?

I have an opportunity to pick up an old FWC thats about the same weight and wondering if I should copy your setup.

 

Truck is looking incredible dude. Do you mind posting a pic of the rear bumper from directly behind the truck? I like the relentless but it seems pretty wide compared to something like from ATH (at least to me). Could just be pictures not doing it justice.

 

It rides like a king, I adjust them according to my weight, but I make it sit level. I ride softer in the rear to allow for my cushion with the load. I recommend my method. Just make sure you get cradle airbags, and ones that you can air down to below 2 PSI
