Yeah. #1. I live in a condo complex and HOA says "no working on/maintaining cars". Used to be i could add washer fluid and top of oil. I got written up for it last year. I fought it successfully, but what a pain in the rear. Some stuff I do, i go to a local park and work in the parking lot. But #2 and #3 are considerations for this job.
#2. I don't have the hole saws needed and didn't feel like spending any money on it.
#3. I can still work and not take off time, which is my biggest issue. I can work "Remote" and have them do it. Or i can take time off of work, to do it myself. The nature of my job means I'm "on" 24/7 (wage slave) and, with also running my own business, it's not unusual for me to be working 7 days a week.
#4. I'm loath to cut into bodywork myself. Someone else messes up, i can blame them. :D

So yeah.. i got a shop to do it. :jpow::jpow::jpow::jpow:

Could've brought it out here. I would've helped install it.

Thanks everyone. She was an organ donor and probably already arrived somewhere around Pittsburgh. Thinking Organs will be research only due to being a long term smoker since her teen years. Told my Amanda if her organs make the connection with cigs and lung cancer/ COPD and save one life, her job is done. Or heart disease from smoking. I'm no angel but if we can turn a positive out of this... Yeah many thought going through our minds at this point. Thanks for the support

Liking it so far, with a couple annoyances. The new drivetrain is by far the best part of the 4th gen. Just hit 1,000 miles today.

Power delivery is much stronger and down low. There's no comparison to the V6, blows it out of the water IMO. The new 8 speed is also far better than the outgoing 6 speed.
