After rigorous laboratory testing, we have concluded that a 12 pack of beer will indeed fit on the floor of the rear seat area.

Just barely, but you will be able to transport the precious liquids to your domicile with a small amount of room to spare.

For comparison, we've included photos from other trucks:

    Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

    Ford F-150 Raptor

Drivers seat for all three vehicles set for my height (6 foot.....runs the 40 in 4 seconds flat, 53" vertical)

Which vehicle would you pick to drive the family from Chicago all the way to WallyWorld in sunny California?

It would be interesting to see how many cases would fit in the bed.

Might need a GoFundMe for that. New Belgium beer is expensive.

Raptor for the long drive and room for the family. That 4th gen would be nice to break in and get a real world review.

It's on sale here at our local Ralphs. A 12 pack is $11.99+tax and CRV. You must buy two 12 packs to get the deal. I'll be going today to get some to stock the fridge to enjoy this weekend.

Wow that looks like a pretty miserable place to spend some time in the back of a tacoma.

I think the days of bulletproof Toyota's are over, to some extent.

We have over 100K perfectly reliable miles between the Raptor and the JT, the playing field has been leveled.

The more computers and electronics they have, the less bulletproof they become.

My limit on visits to 'WallyWorld' is about 10 miles. You must really love Walmart to drive half way across country to visit one. Oh wait..............you did mean that Wallyworld, didn't you?

Good news and bad news from the testing lab today.

The good news is that a McIntosh Apple can fit on the floor behind the front seat. I had to tip it up on end and kind of wiggle it in there as if I was moving a couch through a doorway, but she fits.

The bad news is that a very small beverage cooler is not able to fit on the floor. Not even close, not even a little bit close.
