When I choose the car icon on the MID, I cannot scroll down to get to the PSI display. I have tried resetting the TPMS several times as per the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Wally

Are you getting the display, just no actual numbers? Sometimes this can take some driving after the reset to pop back up.

    A) What's your trim model?

    B) When you say you can't get to the PSI display, do you mean that the display is showing " --" , or do you mean that menu options have completely disappeared? Because one of those is an easy fix.

Did you have it previously and lose it?

Any recent tire / wheel work / changes?

If you are getting the. ——- then that’s normal after a TPMS reset. You may have to drive as many as ten miles after the reset before you see the actual tire pressure.

A picture of what you are seeing would help.

maybe take a video of what you're doing so people can see exactly what your problem is.

    I’m not following either.

    I assume:

    - MID is an abbreviation for the head unit (the touch screen display on the dash). I’ve not heard of it referred to as a MID.

    - PSI display is the tire pressure screen in the head unit

I don’t know what the truck icon is, but I’m guessing you are referring to something on the tire pressure screen.

When you say, “I scroll to the car icon and can not scroll down.”, I’m wondering why you are trying to scroll down if you are looking at the tire pressure screen

EDIT: I didn’t mean the touch screen display. I meant the display that has the digital speedometer.

Multi Information Display is on the dash by the speedometer. I use the steering wheel button to toggle right to highlight the car icon. From there you are suppose to be able to toggle down and see the psi at each wheel.

Sorry that was brain fart. It’s been a long day. I meant what you are referring to, not the touch screen. In any case, I still don’t understand your issue.

The tire pressure screen will display —- instead of a number in various cases where the tire pressure is not known. Scrolling down will not change that fact.

Thanks for the efforts fellows. I read that the sr5 does not have that feature. I swear I saw it before. Must have been like Bigfoot.

wut? The 3rd gen sr5 certainly has the tire pressure screen. I owned a 2016 SR5. I think it is just the base level SR that doesn’t have it. I have a vague memory of reading that it only has and “idiot light”.

I have to say you stumped a number of us with this one. For menu options to disappear either a module went bad or theres a connection deep inside the dash that's loose. That's unfortunately bigger than a simple TPMS issue.

If I were in your position, I would do the following. Unplug the battery terminal, and then, like an ignorant goon, I would crawl under the dash and wiggle random wire harnesses. Maybe scratch my ass, point a flashlight at it, and see if a neon arrow magically appears and points me at the problem. After 20 minutes I would plug the battery back in and cross my fingers that the hard reset fixes it. If that does nothing, then maybe I would start seeking further advice. (It sounds silly, but sometimes a hard reboot makes it behave.)

... If I was really feeling ambitious or desparate, I would pull and ohm-check fuses both inside and out (while the battery is disconnected of course).

There might be a computer tech on here that's familiar with the electronics. Good luck.

You didn't happen to accidentally buy a manual transmission Canadian model?
