    There have been a few threads on TW about the skewp and how it blocks your vision. I try to dispute it by saying the skewp doesn't block vision but the whole hood does, based on my experience.

    The skewp on the 4Runner definitely hinders visibility. But, you're not wrong.

    That's why I got rid of mine. Once I put the seat jackers in, I realized that I could now see higher and the scoop looks cool from the outside on the 3rd gen. I do not like how it looks on the 2nd gen.

    I'm always amazed how the skewp can cause such a debate. Not here, but on other threads. I kinda think of it the same as cars with rear spoilers. It looks nice but it serves no real function.
    Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and that should be respected.
