    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
    The 4Runner is different as it still uses the 4.0 1GR-FE engine that’s also in the 2nd gen Tacoma, unlike the 3rd gen Tacoma’s 3.5 2GR-FKS

    Anyways, I didn’t talk much in this thread, if at all, but thanks for continuously updating us

    @silverstr8p.

    this is the junction connector on your picture. The harness with Beige wire(arrow) will lead to High pressure sensor. It is under the intake, in the valley.

    @silverstr8p, don't attempt to change high pressure sensor, need to change the entire pipe.

    Torn apart more, is this it? Do I need to replace with new, or just the original motor which was working fine?

    Yeah.
    Wire colors match the info provided above, so that looks like it. I would test the wire and connectors first, seems like it is shorted somewhere based on the code.

    That's the one. Check voltage between beige and brown wire with key ON per instructions on post 783
    If voltage is good, need to replace the whole assembly

    Ok, will check. If it's the part, will original motor part work? Worked fine on original motor.

    Yes, should work. But you need to rule out wiring issues 1st

    @silverstr8p also, check voltage on sensor's pin 2 and 3

    @silverstr8p,

    Sorry, I have attached lower pressure sensor.

    Here is inspection of High Pressure sensor

    @silverstr8p, in case the testing the voltage between pin 1 and pin 2 of the connector does not give ~5V. You need to check the voltage at ECU. Pin 1 and pin 2 are on different ECU connectors. You would need to stick a prob from the back. E10 connector pin 23 provides 5 V, E9 pin 23 provides the ground. If you don't get 5V at ECU, ECU circuit is bad for High pressure sensor. Did you say you could not run on used ECU?

    upload_2024-5-23_19-6-34.png

    But, the brown wire is supplying the ground to other sensors, so I would look at that junction connector very closely

    Pulled connector off and there's no voltage there seemingly:

    I have another ECM, but it didn't seem to work last time we tried it. I'll try to figure out how to test this.

    Find the junction connector with ligh green wire and see if you can test it to the good know ground. I think it is next to lower pressure sensor. Then move to ecu side

    Is MAF sensor reports numbers in your scanner? Assume yes, cause no errors.
    It yes, the green wire is good from the ecu to that junction connector.
    Or test lower pressure connector. Pin 1 white and pin 3 brown should show 5v with ignition on.
    upload_2024-5-23_21-20-9.png
    if you have 5v on lower pressure sensor, you need to trace beige and brown wires from the junction to the HP sensor

    Junction connector picture. Do you see it?

    The code is different from the last time we had the engine in (page 30). We originally had a P008700 fuel rail system/pressure too low code, but now we have a P019011 fuel pressure sensor 'a' circuit short to ground. Are the two related?

    Each side has these connectors, I wonder if there's a way to get in here and verify voltage?

    Trace beige wire from HP sensor pin 1. See where it goes. I suspect it goes to the firewall plastic jacket.
    Also, test lower pressure sensor connector. If you have 5V-ECU circuit is good.

    The latest code is electrical-broken circuit. The other could be related to messed up timing. But you may get p008700 code back once you fix the circuit
