Wish I could. I just found out about that TSB yesterday, and I've had it for two years. Wouldn't have mattered anyways due to mine being a 16 and well out of the covered period.

With a 2020, you are quicky running out of time.

    Here was my solution...

I decided to ditch the charger, but retained the switch (for the future)

    1. Purchased the sr5 cubby
    2. Was very nice to the service staff (donuts)
    3. Asked if they would substitue my sr5 cubby for the charger (since same labor)
    4. They handed me the new charger
    5. Sold new charger on Ebay for hefty profit.

Me: sr5 cubby installed under warranty. Retained new charger for sale... sold for 345 (700 msrp).

Win-win. They have a happy me, i have a cubby + 345 and no more rediculous, unusable charger.

    It pays to be friendly.

Has anyone considered deactivating the charger and using the switch location as a USB charging port? Would the amperage supplied to the switch run a USB charge port?

I pulled that button out and used it for my front/rear camera.

If I can't find a new one that does the 15w wireless charge, I'll probably just purchase a replacement rubber pad and use the stock, but without cutting any holes in it. Might end up wiring a small PC fan to the top and out of sight to blow air on it.

I see the TSB mentions 2016-2021. Are the 22-23 model years still having this issue? Or did they use better rubber to mitigate it?

Mine was built June 23. I just checked my pad and its still good for now.

I only used the charger a handful of times. And i do have a case on the phone. It worked reasonably well with the case.

Ill stop using it to be safe. I dont care for the charger. But the aesthetics would annoy me.

Can you share the part number of the SR5 cubby? I'd be interested in replacing mine with a cubby that does not have the charger.

2020 never used the charger and even disconnected the power over a year ago when I had the center console off during a mod after seeing reports of the bubble mat.

Now I have a bubble too.

Double check me but I think it's 58810-04010-C0
I'm in the same boat and would like to replace mine which is severely bubbled although never used.

That might be the part, thanks.

Looking around the best price seems to be $80-90 range. I'll think it over for a bit but may take the plunge. If I do I'll report back.

I also have a 2023 and mine is good for now. I agree with Fazer30 on not using it anymore cause I don’t want to deal with mine bubbling up.

Went ahead and ordered the part. Plan on doing a radio install in the spring and may try to make use of the space in the cubby. Figured having it and being able to look at everything close up without pulling apart the interior would be nice. Eventually I'll swap out the cubby/charger and do the radio install at the same time.

Wife just got a 2025 Rav4 Limited Hybrid and they have updated the Qi charger and her iPhone 16 Pro Max charges with a case. Has anyone looked to see if that charger will fit under our pad?

Planning on doing the install next week. I'll take some pics along the way. The part that showed up appears like it'll fit right in. The geometry of the non charging cubby is slightly different. Its not a flat surface. Its got a downward slope away from the cab.

Following up on the storage cubby. The SR5 cubby fits right in. Here are a few photos. I could only find it for sale paired with the transmission tunnel trim. If you can find the cubby alone that will work too. It's attached with five screws to the larger trim. In fact I reinstalled the trim that came with my taco because it has some insulation fabric attached that I figured I'd keep.

My plan was to use the area for a radio install so I also fastened some magnets the underside of the cubby and installed a RJ45 pass thru in the rear. I'll post some of the radio install in the ham/cb thread
