Anyways. Back to the header talk at least. Lce header wouldn’t be bad nor make my truck run too lean?

3rz to 2Rz bebuilt block and new heads
Over last 4 yrs....since did mine...Two I know of from LCE........I noticed one a long time ago and he said if did not fit without some modifications.

And one other that loved it.....think these were 3rz or 2rz...

The flanges is whats different on different fabricators. Even though they are 2-holed, and tri-holed, they are not the same, and half the time one side has to cut off and straight welded together...

I believe even on the walker, the mid pipe slip joint has to be tack welded to/around the muffler in 2 to 4 spots........so the excess water can still get out, and doesn't sit in muff.......most make mistake of clamping there.
I wouldn't know if I didn't see em pissing all over the ground here in the humid south...

Its worth going thru all this trouble, it'll run good and sound good, especially with the CIA.

OP I had to reread to even remember what you asked. Pops and bangs mean you have unburnt fuel in the exhaust, meaning you're running very rich. Probably due to your exhaust leak telling your O2 sensor it's lean

    Harmful to engine? Nah
Harmful to exhaust and cat? Yah

since I’m going to be doing a header I’ll have no cats and I already have a MBRP high flow muffler should be ok
