Short bed mat, OEM not available, quality option?

Dealer has no idea when they'll get a 5' bed mat for the 24s. A few out of state have inventory but shipping is more than the mat. I don't have a Gen3 mat to trim as one forum member has done.

Anyone use aftermarket like

The 3rd gen mat only requires minor trimming.

 

I'd honestly just wait over getting one those the Amazon knock offs.

Tried to stick my 3rd gen mat in and the wheel wells don't line up, You'd have to cut a good 3-4inch chunk out of each side for it to slide in.

This is absolutely not true. You can see what I cut off my 3rd gen mat in the photo. Just a few tiny pieces from each side and it slides in perfectly

Did cutting the bed mat with snips work better than a utility knife? Just wondering what the best tool to use when trimming a bed mat.

 

Trade the 5' for the 6' bed.

Thanks. When I go to that site, one of the dealers listed is the one I already have a bed mat order in for and I recently got this email :
"This part is on a severe national back order at the moment, we do not have an ETA as to when it will be available at this time. We will notify you as soon as we have it ready for pick up."
Has anybody got the 2024 bedmat yet for their truck?
