I have a 19 offroad double cab short bed all stock with blue sumo springs. During the summer I tow an 18ft camper that weights around 3700lbs dry. Looking to do a small lift anywhere from 1.5-2.5 inch mostly for looks (don't off road at all but would like to be able to if i wanted) and to be able to carry the weight better. At what hight should I be at to minimize having to change stuff besides the struts, shocks, and leafs? Also do you think an aal would be ok or should I look into a complete leaf pack? I was looking at the eibach pro-truck stage 2R kit. Any help on the path I should be taking to do it right is greatly appreciated.

Go with leaf pack. I went AAL at first, and then went RXT stage 2. Should of went pack first. AAL don't hold up with towing and constant weight.

Contact @Crikeymike and get a set of Dobinsons leafs along with the greaseable pin. Done.

I agree that a new leaf pack would be preferred.

With that being said a $250 Headstrong progressive AAL might be OPs liking. The "ride" is subjective and no one here is going to be able to tell you if you'd prefer a $200~$250 AAL solution or the $800~$1,000 full leaf pack solution without a half dozen test drives and your financial statements.

    I drive a '16 with 45k miles.
Leaves are still good so I went Icon AAL and left the overload in.

I don't tow or carry much weight.

I'll agree with the others as full leaf pack is the way and will eventually be the route I take......eventually.

By the picture it looks like you also added medium duty (black) Sumo springs. (typically done to cure squat with a heavier load.)

Same boat as you, however, I added the RAS with the help of @Ricardo13x and I have to say the ride has improved A LOT. Even with no load.

I was following an F150 this morning on the freeway, he was about 100 feet in front of me. He drove over a really rough pothole with the left tires. The front tire’s suspension took it well, but once the back tire literally hit that pothole(didn’t roll over), the back end of the truck jumped to the right.

The Taco did the same and it ended up straight as an arrow with no harsh thump.

Very good stuff. The ride overall is not harsh at all. Soaks up bumps really well. @20%

    EDIT: 350lbs load

    That's funny you say that.
I find myself watching the vehicles in front of me, as well.
To see how my truck compares to theirs over bumps.

    Here's that setup in action.
With stock coilovers and 2" spacers up front. No sway bar

Tacos when equipped can certainly do it better and there’s only one way to find out, kinda like when equipped with 2.1…
