14 inch multimedia display

Am I the only one who is having trouble understanding the navigation? Using the Toyota app i.can't get a split screen. I have trouble understanding the presets and setting them up. The manual is nothing but pictures, no instructions! It's useless! The videos don't go into enough detail. Does anyone know where I can get better instead? My Salesman helps but he's a hours drive from me.

I did, I don't understand them.

 

He doesn't go by the steps, talks way too much. I need less talk, more hands on and how to set up presets. Between Android Auto and Toyota I don't understand. I'm not able to find the information I need. Either online or you tube. My Dealer is a hour away, I can't drive there every time I get confused.

 

If you want to set a preset, tune to that station and then press the little heart button on the screen. It will then be on the favorite screen. If you want to be navigated somewhere then say "Hey Toyota, take me to 123 Sesame Street" and then follow the directions. There is a lot of info in the manual so start asking some better questions on what you want to do and maybe we can help you better. The multimedia manual is 250 pages and the preset info is in it.

 

How do I manually tune? The voice prompt is not recognizing my command. I found the manual to be pictures no written directions. I don't understand why when I try to switch to another station it goes to another source. I didn't touch mode.

 

Download that file above and search for tune page 162 will tell you.

 

Is anyone tech savvy you know, at all? If not then get yourself to the dealership. People are trying to help here but it seems you're a visual learner.
