I love doing that too. It’s all the old fart rage. I get out there when it’s busy and drive 5 to 10 mph under the limit. It’s amazing the number of people who wave to me with the one finger in the air, and who honk at me to get my attention. Then they yell greetings to me which I don’t hear very well without my hearing aids. Sounds like they are saying something You and something about some kind of hole. Sometimes whole car loads waive at me as they roar past me. I’m making lots of new friends. Great fun.

Messing with green house done. Putz is now done; which was pool poles. Wife can't put them back by the pump. They blow over in the wind, and I am tired of tripping on them when I mow, and moving them when I grill. So. .






Now, to get the washer on the diving board....

 

Evening all:

Changed air filters in the Tacoma and the Chevy truck, found this in the air box of the Chevy truck!

 

And here I am just trying to remember which ONE of the cheap filters has good airflow!

Last time I was at the USAF museum was about 25 years ago. They had the surviving XB-70 and a camo dressed B-52 parked outside. Walked over to the main gear of the B-70 and observed the brakes were absolutely fried! I said something about them to our lubrication engineer at our engineering office next day and he looked up and said "I worked on that brake design at Kelsey-Hayes!". According to Paul the plane had to land like the space shuttle, very hot - or it would simply fall out of the sky - they found this out the hard way of course. He said that to complete the test regimen, they decided to simply do a total rebuild of the brakes after every flight. Apparently the last flight was to Wright-Pat ...... and they towed the rascal forever after.

 

I am amazed by the lift generated by monster planes of any sort.
I am also amazed that they can land them without such lift!!!!

I'd be one of the guys freaking out. It's one of my worst annoyances, I can deal with it most of the time. Only on an empty bladder since I've been on a BPH med when I have to go get out of my way. I like my morning coffee but it doesn't like me till afternoon 1 cup runs through me like 5 beers. When I drove my service truck, I had to learn patience because it was a rolling billboard so the only time I'm waving is when I gotta go..

The dam furnace kicked in last night down to 41, snow further north by the Canadian borderbeen raining for a couple days.here.

 

Good morning from the farm. Big day today. Selling the travel trailer!! Been using it here on the property while rebuilding the home.
We are now able to sleep in the home!!!
