3rd Gen LED Bed Lights

My 3rd Gen LED bed lights are burnt out. I purchased some replacement LED lights at my local Toyota dealer -the drivers side and passenger side. The kit came with the LED lights wired in with the wire assembly.
Instead of replacing all the wires, can you splice the new light wire into the existing wiring?

 

The pins are on the pictured replacement. You should be able to de-pin the current connector using a precision flat blade screwdriver

 

I see that the sealed terminals are already available. De-pin the failed lamp terminals at the connector and insert the new terminals.

 

Do all makes and model
Trucks have the wiring available to buy these wire in and mount ?

 

No, I think the wiring was added in 2020 or 2021.

 

Remove a rear lamp assembly and check for this:

 

Copy will do but since mine is a 2019 sounds like it was never offered, thought maybe there was a chance since the original post was on a 2017
