    It's Race Day in Indianapolis.

    Weather forecast is quite sketchy.
Might have a window in the afternoon to get it done. If not, we'll see how it plays out and maybe we're back tomorrow...

Well, kinda the norm for Indy. Maybe yes, maybe no.
I’d like to see Kyle do the double and do well.

    TY… Us Too.
Our Vacation is in our bedroom and living room.
    Had to be done…
I’ll be watching the race from our new love seat or,
from the step stool with a paintbrush.

Lol we are getting rid of the painted border flowers my wife did when I went to Daytona many, many, many years ago. Our house is a place to live, not show off. So we don’t do a house overhaul every 5 years.. lol

Painting this house has been rather difficult. Previous owner chain smoked in the house since it was built in 1965. Certain rooms that were really bad required and oil primer. The bathroom ceiling is still bleeding nicotine after a wash and prime. Going to have to break out the shellac primer to see if that works. If that doesn't then it's a complete gut job. Honestly the whole bathroom needs gutted anyways, but it is the only tub/shower in the house so bathing would be difficult. I can keep the shitter in there during all that, but taking a bath would be difficult.

We’ve decided to break camp early and beat the rain out of here.
    Hope the race works out!

So while I was waiting for the 500 to start, I did some carpentry stuff.
Took all the stained wood away and put fresh clean wood to have a single color closet.
Also added a new steel pipe and made the transition more eye pleasing instead of a old hunk of a 2x4
hanging off the wall. Increased capacity to about 5000 pounds of clothing weight.
    (You didn’t see that). LOL
    Should paint up well.

    IMG_7856.jpg

Need to put a 1X4 filler on the back wall to even the wraparound and 2 2x12’s or 4 2x6’s for the shelf.
A 1X12 has no business being in a closet in this house..

Hydroplaned all the way home to a cabin with no power. Few hours later, same story. They’re saying ‘by midnight’

had the bomber/or jets fly low overhead a bit ago. Something must be happening at the track.

PB30 installed under Lemon’s watchful eye. Ran whips for the gen hookup, fridge, dishwasher, and shed. Parts ordered for the panel swap so that’ll be coming soon.
