Pretty decent haul today! Colorado Bourbon Hunters on FB, and ET_Quila helping in the hunt. First time seeing Weller fat boys and again, first time seeing a bottle of Sweet Wheat. Gotta love the network vs. Stores up charge

 

I’d like to try that lineup someday!

 

So here’s what I brought back from NC. (Small bottle is a wine from Burial). More beer than bourbon but I’ve wanted an old Fitz for a long time (it and the eagle rare came from GA and the Pinhook came from TN, so only one actual NC purchase).

 

some awesome bottles there. I have a few purple tops. All have that distinct willett taste that I’ve tried (some artificial candy sweetness, can’t put my finger on it) but hard to justify at the prices I’ve gotten them at. I have a hazmat one that I’m looking forward to an occasion to pop open.

 

Received this one on a trade. Have a 9 year too and been collecting some Hirsch (purple top juice) as well. Haven’t had one I haven’t liked.

Grabbed these two today, only bought the Blanton’s because it’s an L, now there’s only one letter I’m missing. I don’t have the second N’ but I think I have 4 of the first ones lol.

Only Old Elks I've had have been the Cigar Cuts. I like 'em well enough, though I prefer the regular over the tropical version.

 

Just checked the two unopened bottles I have but no N. - I have the O and an S. I don’t buy Blanton’s often but if I come across another N. I’ll see if I can get in touch with you. I have some buddies that have the toppers lying around as well.

 

Buddy wants to try the 1924, so we're playing with 10 y/o stuff tonight.
