True...as stated though...too many variables to consider.
Just asking what others are paying on a forum that spans all possible scenarios is not going to cut it.

    I Might be wrong but!
I drive class 9 big rigs the heavy haul truck you see on the road. With that said the newer truck have the QUALCOMM system that can report to the office on just about anything you do while driving hard acceleration, hard braking and so on.
I think all new vehicles now have the same kind of system it would not be to much for an insurance company to tap into this info
more so if you get a new insurance plane and do not read the fine print or flat out ask your insurance company if they tap into this info!!
The way things are now everything we do are monitored or shared in some way! Look at Google Maps that dam app on your phone tracks everywhere you go and ask if you want to write a review on places you stopped at!!
As for the cost of insurance going up? I am over 60 have a class A with all the endorsements and I have smith training once a year for Hazmat and driver training with over 2 million miles commercial driving with no accidents or tickets! I get no discounts for any of this and my TACO cost me $680. a year.
Why has everything gone up look up the US Dept clock and what the current federal did to the companies that are left in the USA
What are you paying for that crappy Big Mac now and how small it shrunk to?

^This right here you need someone who DOES not work for an insurance company to negotiate your rates. I have been doing this for years saves you a ton of $$.

    I have 2019 Tacoma 4x4 DCLB Sport.
The Misses drives a 2019 Camry XSE

Both have full coverage. Yearly bill (pay over 10 months) is ~$2800. My truck is just under a 100 bucks a year more than her car.

On a side note: my ‘69 Camaro is full coverage and is just over $300 a year to insure. But then I rarely drive it and it has be like pristine weather conditions before I uncover it. But I digress …

    @Deadsquiggles

I have virtually the same fleet you do.
    2018 Tacoma, a 2006 Lexus gs300, and a 1983 f-150. Only liability on the last 2.

my 6 month premium with USAA is $1883

I would change over right now but I got my f-150 towed and they slashed the tire so I’m trying to get that replacement through them.

Like mentioned previously, lots of variables puts quotes all over the map. But an interesting antidote: I back into a tree, low impact, dented tailgate, that's it. I called my insurance agent and told him, then I asked him, how much is this going to cost me if I filled a claim, - and not just the deductible. He did some figuring and said I would lose my good driving discount, my distinguish drivers discount and my good driving record would disappear and my rates would go up $2,300 0ver the next three years, - all for a dented tailgate. I said thank you and hung up. - this is with All State.

$212 per month with Geico for my 22 Tacoma and wife's 14 Forte..we have the Maximum coverage limit that Geico offers on everything.....it's overkill I know
54 years old, wife is 53 live in Northeast Tennessee....1 accident (hit a deer crossing highway at 4:30 am going to work).

Have thought about shopping around to see if any other Ins. Companies offer same coverage for less.

But have been told by several friends that their insurance has went up in the last year or so with State Farm, Progressive,Farm Bureau,etc...

I guess we all will have to accept higher rates in the coming years...no way around it!!!

My wife and I both have good driving records and good credit. I have my 19 Taco, a 13 CX5 and a 66 Mustang. Geico just went up over 350 a year more and they’ll “discount” my rate if we opt into their driving app. Now my annual insurance policy is over 2k. I’ll be shopping around, I’m not loyal to big companies. I used to love Allstate, was a client for a long time but they couldn’t beat Geico at the time so I left. It is what it is, I have nothing against “big business” but I just go with what’s best for me. Just like they do what’s best for them.

As others have mentioned, too many variables to compare. Couple of thought though. Get enough coverage (liability and under insured motorist). My wife was t-boned a few years ago. The other guy’s fault but he only had $100K coverage. I have since upped my coverage to $500K because my insurance had to kick in and cover over his $100K coverage.

Also, if you are a Costco member get a quote.

Unless you live in Florida or California - and other states will follow.
I read that some parts of Arizona homeowners rates have jumped to $1,000 a month.
I don't understand that as we don't have hurricanes, tornadoes, or massive flooding.

I suspect at some point we are going to see a Basic National Insurance Program similar to Flood Insurance.
Frankly I'm all for it as insurance companies have been raping people for years. I suspect every person
would switch to a National Plan in a heartbeat and see their rates drop like a rock.

I’m older and pay $325 every six months for my Tacoma with max coverages, $500 deductible, and I have one other older vehicle, homeowners, umbrella liability, life insurance, all combined with State Farm so I’m getting some discount for a bundling. My monthly payment for all my State Farm insurance, everything is $604 per month. Then I also have a Honda pioneer side-by-side and a couple of quads that I pay Progressive $174 a year for insurance in addition. You gotta have insurance!

I am near 1100 dollars a year for full coverage but I increased to 100,300,100 due to the price of vehicles now. I did not feel comfortable with 50/100/50.

Progressive is fantastic. Putting my first gen on my family's plan brought our bill down 20 dollars a month somehow. Had a good laugh about that. The actuaries over there must know how well built those early tacos were.
