So what’d I miss while I was gone? Everyone behaving themselves? I didn’t have 20 PMs and 10 text messages telling me someone got banned so I assume all good?

It hasn’t stopped raining since yesterday afternoon, not a lot, just constant and annoying

Did you forget your password? If you need me to walk you through the reset process let me know. Or you can PM Bob here and he can send you a link to do it.
Make sure you have the site in your safe sends list so the email doesn’t get rejected. That happens a lot

and weekend was good. Got a camp that has electric hookups so I could give the RV batteries a rest and recharge - more than the solar can do. All was good until my neighbors tried to burn the whole camp down by trying to wedge a huge 12” diameter by 8’ log into the fire pit. It catapulted out once it burned down a bit and then rolled down hill into another camp. Luckily lots of folks were still up and we all went running with buckets. I dumped 5 gallons into their pit when they weren’t looking to make sure they couldn’t pull any other dumb ass moves.

I thought you went camping to get away from stupid?! I guess, like Chicken Man: they're everywhere, they're everywhere.

    There is no escaping…
That camp usually has a host but not this year. Still not as bad as some of the things I’ve seen.
Hoping this week will be pretty quiet. Kids are still in school so no families out during the week. Just me and maybe a few retirees

That race amazes me, you could grab a cup coffee from one of the residents as you go by there kitchen at 200 mph

And not just 200 mph, that's on public roads! Average lap speed is almost 134.5 mph. I believe there are 3 spots the bikes get completely airborne.

    The wrecks are pretty violent.

I remember this like it was yesterday. Our squad was back inside the wire that day, so we were at the ceremony. The roll call is the hardest part. You know they are getting close alphabetically… Then the silence each time they call the name. The gunner on my M1114 was good friends with one of them. The other was a TC and a teacher back home. Same as me. I think about it often, but especially today. IMG_3415.jpg
