Maybe somebody will know. I'm buying a new Tacoma 4x4 access cab SR5 with the 4cyl. I want the silver streak and my dealer says there's none anywhere close. He has one coming in sometime in February. So I ask him..won't the 2010 be arriving in around the middle of june?if they are I might as well wait on the 2010.He said no not untill the fall.I'm sure I remember seeing the 2009 tacoma's on the lot this past July 2008.I think they arrive in the showrooms in Canada before they arrive in the US.Any info out there would be awesome.

There won't be any changes to the 2010 that aren't on the '09. I'd just get the '09 and go to a different dealer. I wouldn't want to wait over a month for a new truck unless its a custom order.

    Good choice on Silver Streak.

I realize they are gonna be the same truck..its just that if I havta wait till feburary for the one I want..why not wait a few more months to get the new year model. My little 1993 extra cab with the 2.2L has a ton of Miles left in her..I just have the wants for a new truck

Silver Streak is the highest sellin color for the Taco's.

Just noticed your in Canada. Last I heard it was far cheaper to buy your truck in America than it was Canada. Just throwing it out there that you might wanna look into that.

I tried buying one in the U.S but nobody will sell me one..they say Toyota won't allow them to export new ones.I don't want a used one..they will sell me used. If I could get a Broker in New Hampshire where there is no sales tax I would flip him a few hundred for the paper work.

Because the 2009 should be less expensive and may also have a rebate...

Silver streaks are a dime a dozen. It shouldnt be too hard to find one. Shop around, im sure you will find one. Ohh and I highly doubt that 2010 model will have any additional features over the 2009.

I first test drove an '09 back at the end of June, and it was the first one to arrive in Vancouver. If you're willing to wait, you can probably get a better deal on an '09 in May or June. They had tones of the silvers when I was looking at that time, but I wasn't ready to purchase yet (plus I prefer the Magnetic Grey that I now have) :D

There are a few dealers in the US that will sell new ones to us Canucks, I found one near Seattle, but with the current exchange rate you're going to need a killer deal to make it worth it. The price they quoted me a few months back for a base model regular cab now converts to about the same as you would pay for a base moddle access cab here.

The Toyota Dealers here in Nova Scotia say the deal is the same price you see when you price the Truck up on Toyota.ca no rebates...and alot of other models are at 1.9% the Taco's are 5.9% Pretty independant bunch in my neck of the woods!
