After the trip if my buddy likes it, I might give him the black one and order the grey. Maybe... I might be smart and not blow the money though.

Just ordered the panniers, mounts, and a one gallon armadillo bag for around $770-ish. My wallet needs time to recover.

If your buddy likes it, just let him buy you the grey one if/when they go on sale. Seems like a fair trade.

    Just a perspective,

    A stock VESPA GTS300 puts out a bit over 26 HP. ;-)

He's cheap, and he hates it when I say that. LOL He would NEVER spend that much on a tank bag. This is the same guy I'm buying a helmet because he'll never spend the money for a quality one.

Go back inside… get a trash bag and cut 3 holes. 1 for your head and 2 for the arms, to make a poncho.

    and don’t fly away. Haha

I'm just gonna throw 2 of our PPE gowns on. I'm really only concerned with my backpack getting wet. Don't want to disassemble and oil what's in there. Pens are expensive.

Yeah, but then motomachines hits you with absurd shipping. The little fender flap thing for the CB500X was the wrong size and shipping was nearly as much as the part. Unless they are the only option, I avoid them like the plague.

They don't even have an option for paid shipping

The little windshield spoiler, though ugly, works well. It used to be once I got around 45mph the wind noise and buffetting was bad enough I’d have to put my helmet visor down. With the little spoiler it’s pushing the wind up and over my helmet now so visor up riding up to 70mph (fastest I went) was enjoyable.

Well that's new, then. Still not touching them. The 3rd degree about the part being the wrong size and attitude in correspondence burned that bridge.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

Smelling out the KTM fun! Good to see you pop your head in here. Hope all has been well man!

Whelp, I gotta say thats the most unassuming sleeper 26hp I have ever seen. I would of NEVER guessed if I pulled up next to it on the road.... My XT225 with mods sits at MAYBE around 22hp, and she cruises down the highway at 65-70 without much issue and moves around town super fun and spirited if desired.... now 4-5+hp call it 20% more, in something that sleeper and "cute" would be so fun to troll people with. Part of me wishes I kept one of those honda DIO's I got a SMOKING deal on awhile back and full sent a dumb build on it with the profits of the other one.

DAMNIT NOW I WANNA RIDE THAT VESPA or some random scooter.... yeah I said it... I am from southern CA after all hahaha

Dude, I want to ride all kinds of stuff that gatekeeper "bikers" wouldn't be caught dead on. Specifically, Can-Am Spyders. I've always thought they were kinda cool, and I'd love to give one a whirl.

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and was able to get out and ride. I didn’t but should have.

That said, We put down doggie on friday. That sucked but had to be done. Relaxed over the weekend, Then went down to the War Memorial yesterday to finally see a troops name etched in glass that I knew, and the pleasure of serving with. I have not been able to do it before. just would go there and pay respects to all, that gave all.

Luv yea and miss yea Jesse.

    IMG_6755.jpg

I hope everyone took a few minutes to remember why the holiday is there, Then proceed on with what ever you do.

    On a lighter note….. work sucks. :D
