That’s almost a 35” tire. Would be worse. And it’s a very uncommon tire size.

    I think you mean 255/80/17.

Averaged 19.4 mpg from LA to Sacramento. I-5 all the way in Eco mode. 410 miles on stock 32's. Granted, did 75-85 mph most of the way including the Grapevine. Was around 17 mpg until I slowed to under 70 the last 100 miles.

No, I really did mean that size. And I think I could get them to fit without butchering the truck.

Hopefully Ironman 4x4 releases their foam cell pro suspension kits for the 4th gen soon. It is going to be so soft compared to my Bilstein's, I'm genuinely excited.

To me it certainly would, but in general people prefer big wide tires that poke really hard, and that's the opposite of what I need.

I have 285s and no lift on an SR5 with the stock wheels. Works great, I am sure the Sport would work just as well.

Really liking the look of it. Picked up some 285 70 17 Maxxis Razr ATs for $167/ea.

No time to get them mounted this week until Saturday

Indeed. The poke is played out and really fucks up the sides of the truck

The 116/113Q LT are load range C tires and the 117T are P rated which is the difference in price. If you don't plan on wheeling it, go with the P rated tires. They are cheaper and more importantly they are 7lbs per tire lighter than the C rated tires (47lbs vs 54lbs) which will help with fuel milage and overall performance

That looks great, I have the same truck and want to go to the same size tires. The 245/70R17 stock tires look way too small for the size of the truck and wheel wells.

My 285s got delivered this am. Jeeze they look quite a bit bigger than the stock offroad tires. I'll get them put on next week.

Just some 35% tint to match the rears and some 285/70/17 Falkens…
Sorry I missed this comment earlier...they're Falken Rubitrek A/T...285/70/17...they have a really nice ride, nice pattern, nice sidewall, and I believe 55K rating...IMG_2608.jpg

Here's a different angle....for your reference...again, Falken Rubitrek 285/70/17....I have consistently got 25 MPG per trip going about 100 miles...speeds 55-65 MPH...and the tire is actually rotating less times per mile since it's slightly taller. I actually looked up the number to multiply it by being 1.0349...going from stock 265s to the 285/70/17...so 25 MPG x that factor is actually closer to 26 MPG (25.8725).

    I hope that helps...
