Yep. Same exact suspension - A-arms, shocks, hyd jounce bumpers. I’m sure they handle the same.
And with an OR you can do what most OR owners do: add a lift, TRD wheels, and a heritage grill.

For clarification: Side/related question: Are those ridiculous seats standard on the PRO or are they Optional ? I just figured they were optional and thinking unchecking that box should drop the price by several thousand dollars. If they are standard equipment, I would never consider purchasing one. [PRO].

(and I would never buy one with a black roof either.) :pccoffee:

Yep. Most OR owners spend more on their trucks than Pro owners who leave their trucks stock.

Standard unfortunately. Yet the 4runner which is more expensive than the tacoma doesn't come with isodynamic seats at all. Wish that was the case for the tacoma.

Thank you. I'd add that I especially wouldn't want to have them in a first-year-production Tacoma, or anything else in that category for that matter.

However I would pay extra for for a 9-way adjustable power/heated/lumbar seat.
My son's F150 has one (driver's side) and it's awesome.

The 2024 Tacoma prices on some trims leap frogged the current 2024 4Runner. That may change when the 2025 4Runner Platinum, Pro, Trailhunter, and other trim prices are announced.

New 4 runner will be 20% more than current. Trd pro probably topping 70.

Not a “steal” at 80K but at msrp, you’re getting cool looking and probably more comfortable seats for what is essentially a splurge luxury purchase.
Almost no one is buying a Pro so they can drive fast off road.

The amount of people willing to buy a Corvette has to be dwindling. In the era of Tesla Plaids, Corolla GRs, Raptor R and TRXs there is a lot of performance options on the market. Take a Mustang GT off the lot and it could probably keep paces with the Vette. Dodge used to have their line up of V8 performance cars, that made more HP than a Vette. I'm not saying the Vette isn't a good performance car. The C8 is a very different car compared to the C7.

yup. darkhorse tops out in the 3.7 range and it starts at 61k. yikes.

if i am looking performance and cross shopping the Vette, i'd be looking 911 or used Ferrari or maybe a camaro zl1.

i can see the mustang being a cross shop.

but not the raptors and trx or corolla. but maybe. you never know. some people love the miata

I love how toyota keeps reducing the cylinder count. I can't wait for the single cylinder version with 9 turbos

If you put your average driver/buyer behind the wheel of 2024 C8 and a 2024 Mustang GT. They would pull the same times.

There are so many performance options available in so many types of vehicles. There's a lot of competition out there.

I never brought up 0-60 times. I was talking overall performance numbers where braking and steering are involved.

Forget the Mustang for a second. Don't some of those Dodge hellcats put out faster 0-60 times?
