HUGE shoutout to @ahspurlock for helping me get my rear diff/locker fixed yesterday! Ended up having to loosen the carrier about a 1/4" to get the locker indicator switch pin seated behind the shift plate but overall wasn't too bad.


The new revised 4.7 OTT tune is incredibly nice! Also, I've got that spicy tune ready whenever you want to try that out.

I'd like to get in on this now that I'm finally settled in.

 

Any noticeable changes in trans temps with OTT? I’m outside of warranty already but if I had to get work done is it easy to flash it back to stock? I’m already at 70,000 miles.

 

Anyone coming down from NC to SC able to TW express a camper shell to me? Pick up in Durham and I can meet really anywhere in SC but I’m in Charleston. Just trying to avoid a 4hr drive in each direction.

Has anyone been to Charlie's Creek Rd in awhile? I'm thinking about taking a ride up that way this coming Saturday and to check out tallulah falls

 

TC locking/unlocking is reworked. It will stay locked longer while in OD, meaning trans temps should stay cooler, but ultimately the 3rd gen has a thermostat on the trans, and being in the south I would suggest to pin it and keep it that way year round.

Can't go wrong with the tune though, if nothing else it helps the shit ass transmission sort itself out. Jay or myself are your closest option, not sure what part of SC you are in now.

 

I did the testing on the updated tune for a few weeks now. The power output doesn't change between the settings. It's only how fast the throttle bad opens in relation to where the throttle pedal is at - it's similar to how a pedal commander operates, but you actually get more power/torque and better transmission performance out of the tune not just amplifying the throttle signal like a pedal commander.

 

With the 4.56 gears I dont recommend above medium, especially when in 4lo. Things tend to get real jerky. I'm probably gonna put mine back down to mild as well. #racetruck

So today I found out my ex wife filled out my daughters application for my GI Bill Benefits without my
knowledge. Mainly so the money would be transferred into a checking account she opened for our daughter.
Hell to the no. I had to call the VA and cancel that application. I wish I never ever would have to deal with this
woman ever again. Just leave me alone. Our daughter is 18 years and I don't need to ever hear from you. This
GI Bill is my benefit that I transferred to our daughter. It will be going into an account that I open up for her. Outside
of having my daughter Lillian I wish I would have never met her mom.

 

Dang, suprised she was able to do that without your consent.

 

She either forged my daughter’s signature on the application or tricked her into signing it. Either way I called the VA to verify what they needed from me. And they were like

wait we already have an application on file.

 

That’s messed up!

 

Ugh this sucks man. The VA is a shitshow on their good days so it's no real wonder how this slipped through the administrative cracks.
