New 4x innovations winch mount plate bumper

    The build quality is really good on these bumpers. The only complaint I have is the frame horn bolt access hole is really tricky to get to. That bolt right on the end of the frame. I painted it myself with some metal etching primer and some matte spray paint and clear coat. Yes - it’s a 98 with the 95-97 facelift. IMG_4745.jpg

    I thought the same thing about those access holes when I installed the same bumper on my truck. Also had to grind one frame horn slot a bit wider to get the bolt holes to line up.

    Great bumper otherwise! You going to put a winch on yours?

    That’s what I was thinking. I might just cut the notch out a bit bigger and I’ll have to make that hole a little more offset. I’ll be doing that when I get a 9500lb. Winch in there. Was thinking about the one from harbor freight.
