I've gotten one of these. We're on the bicycle for now. We'll see how that goes.

You're not wrong. Epagneul Breton aka EB aka French Brittany. Little Smaller and scrappier than their American descendent (which I had previously and use to work for the rescue) . She's turning out to be smaller than expected, but it's growing on me. She'll be lucky to hit 30 pounds. Small prey doesn't stand a chance. Absolutely fearless.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I went from retrievers to Brittnys just cause the small size was handier in and around vehicles. Bird brains though....;-)

I loved my Goldens, but after my last one(she made it to 16)...I wanted a smaller dog for lifting into the RTT.

Yeah, a couple 100+ pound labs did me in. Too much of everything. GREAT dogs, but. Britts have big dog energy but are pretty compact and clean.

I promised myself during our battle with cancer with my Aussie that I wouldn't get a dog. Take advantage of the time and the money and focus on other things. And as others have referenced, the heartbreak is profound. Idiot that I am, I fell right back in a pair of fluttering lashes, the dogs AND the girlfriends...

The end sucks....but the life they give is so worth it. I wish Urals weren't as pricey as they are......I'd grab one just so my dog could have a sidecar:rofl:

It took me a while to want another one after Sierra passed. I got her when I was 21 and she was with me until 37(she out lived her son( Reno) and a rescue Golden (Job) I took in). I got Belle when I was 43ish

Grief is the price we pay for love.
    - Queen Elizabeth II

1 year ago tomorrow I had to say goodbye to my pug and best friend of 13 years. She got me through the hardest things I've gone through and letting go crippled me. I love dogs, and they leave a hole that only a dog can fill. I'm waiting for my feelings to shift to wanting a dog instead of wanting my dog. It hasn't happened yet, but the ache for a fur buddy is growing.

Stella was the best, and I miss her daily.

Good quotes are good quotes, regardless of source.

We don't deserve dogs, but they love us anyway.

Little dogs are the best. Our pug stayed in the roof top tent with us a couple times when I still had it and I can't imagine dragging a bigger dog in there. My boston is such a psycho though he probably would have jumped out of it if he saw a rabbit or some other critter he wanted to chase.

I don't think my dog would do well lmao she is very spazy and doesn't like the bikes haha. I just got her use to being out and around the trucks off leash while I'm driving out at my grandparents fields.

But heeler life lol so here is a pic of the shithead

Yeah on the Super Tenere its pretty seamless with consistent lever and pedal feel regardless of whats going on (with your typical abs pulses if you get into things that heavy), I thought at first I wouldnt like it but damnit its nice. Admittedly its made me lazy lol, unless I'm riding aggressive in the canyons and feel the need to trail brake into a corner before getting on the front brakes I HARDLY touch the rear brake because the "Unified Braking System" works so well, it factors in speed, applied brake pressure, and rate of speed change. You can smash the front brake and damn near pull it into a nose wheelie which will activate the abs in the rear as it gets light/off the ground but you dont feel it at the front brake lever.

The linking is deactivated if you start braking with the rear brake first, if you start with the front lever first but then want to add in more rear that what the UBS is doing for some reason it will let you do so no issue with no difference in feel. The ONLY thing you can feel is the system working ever so slightly if you gently rest your foot on the rear pedal (but not activating the brake) and start braking with the front lever, you can feel the pedal go a little lower as this pump presurizes the rear brake on its own.

I gotta say I have been VERY impressed with how yamaha implemented the linked setup on the tenere. If for some reason I wanted to turn it all off, my ABS off on the fly button mod I did allows me to do so.... I have used it once to mess around thats it.
