My supervisor lives in Jersey and owns several guns including an AR-15; I think his AR has a reduced magazine or something...?

 

probably, anything over 10 rounds has to be pinned.

could be an epoxied mag block too, however you’d like to limit it.

I came across Savage 220 12-gauge shotgun for just a hundred bucks! This was at Cabela's on Memorial Day. One thing I was surprised to see was that it did not have a serial number; I talked to an employee, and she told me something I did not know. Guns prior to about the early 1960s did not have serial numbers. There is still paperwork included with the weapon to prove ownership; I was tempted to buy this thing!

 

My one complaint about this weapon is that it's a single-shot. A single-shot is fine for collecting or taking to the range on weekends, but I feel like it would be very impractical for home defense...

 

Another (more expensive gun, this time a Savage .22, with no serial number...

 

I mean it's $100, it can be the backup one stashed in the grandfather clock
