I want to get the magnaflow overland exhaust and the website only offers this exhaust for a 2nd gen sport OR a 2nd gen crew cab.

I have a 2015 off-road double cab (DCB) Just wondering if anybody has the same truck and has this exhaust? I called magnaflow and they were trying to tell me that the double cab and crew cab were the same.

I also talked to the local muffler shop and they said that the exhaust is shipped with two separate pipes and they just use the one that fits my truck.

any advice? does anyone have a 2nd gen 4door double cab 4.0 with this exhaust?

Not sure where you're seeing that info. The Magnaflow product page lists out basically every single configuration of the 2nd gen. Based on the instructions and photos it looks like it has accommodations for all lengths of truck as well as both rear hanger configurations.

Here’s what’s on the website. As soon as i choose the 5ft (60”) bed length it only gives me the Crew Cab option

They are. Toyota 2nd gens had regular, access and double cabs.

No 'crew cabs'. That's terminology from other marquees

Crew cab is the same as double cab, double-cabs are the only one you can get in a long bed or short bed.

Regular cab and access cab Tacoma's are all long beds.

I didn't bother messing with that, but upon looking at it right now it seems the "confirm fitment" tool on their site doesn't work. It doesn't even list all the correct configurations for our trucks. And, the confirm fitment tool directly conflicts with what is listed in the product installation instructions. If you're trying to use this tool you can ignore Base vs Sport vs Off Road vs Pro. All of those trim levels utilize the exact same size/fitment of exhaust. It's only the truck length and year that affects exhaust fitment.

That said, if I use the confirm fitment tool, and enter a DCSB truck like yours it confirms that the product fits.

Go to the product page and check the "compatible vehicles" link. It lists all submodels for all years 05-15 and doesn't specify lengths - I believe because it will fit ALL lengths.

Instructions state that DCLB will require the extension pipe. And we already know that DCSB and ACLB utilize the same exhaust.

that’s why I love this community. Thanks for the info. i was figuring that the company was using the word crew cab to describe double cab. Even the picture of the taco on their website is a DCB. Hopefully someone that’s installed this exhaust on the same model as mine will chime in.

You either have a DCSB or a DCLB. There is no DCB

S being short bed, L obviously long.

I have the street series on mine, it's a simple install. Looks like the overland has a bit more to it.
