ARE cap, wade inchannel vent visors, weathertec floor mats, ranch hand grill guard, tuffy security boxes in bed, lockable tailgate handle. Still have stuff that needs to be installed and still have stuff ordered lol.
Dropped mine off at dealer yesterday for inspection they gave me 2022 tacoma sr5 im not impressed with the 2022 rough idle and feels smaller and narrower than my 2015 but great a/c and i like the apple car play. Cant wait to get my truck back

dealer called me today told me they cannot spray my frame because it is modified they called toyota and said i have to remove my rock sliders, transfer case skid plate and transmission skid plate. I asked what about the engine skid plate, fuel tank skid plate and differential skid plate they no those are fine. The other ones and rock sliders block holes they need access to. They can remove them but no guarantee that nothing will break and they have to charge me $500.
I said i will pickup my truck and when i get around to it i will remove them and reschedule to bring my truck in smh

My truck has 440,000 miles and is in great condition. It runs like new and the frame is in exceptional condition for the mileage it has. I’ve been aware of the frame recall for some years now and never really gave it a second thought because I just don’t have any complaints about the truck. I figured a few months before the recall expires I would make an appointment to have it inspected so I had it looked at about 8 weeks ago. My low expectations were throttled when the manager notified me that they would LIKELY be replacing the frame. He showed me a small hole on the bottom side of the frame that I had not seen before and apparently this qualified it for the replacement. I have not heard back since and I still harbor the low expectations. It’s a good truck and I can’t see it folding up on me but who knows… I guess if that happens it’ll probably be when I’m plowing with it.

Unfortunately, yes. No amount of haggling with Toyota is going to get you anywhere.

Will they still do the procedure- for a price- and without the warranty?

Most dealerships would be happy to do a frame swap for you. The problem is the cost. By the time you add up the cost of the frame, all of the "other" parts that need to be replaced at the same time - because they're rust out too - you're talking $10-15k.

I'm just asking about the PM procedure that they do for campaign K0D- spraying the CRC stuff inside the box frame sections.

There are actually much better processes than the original CRC treatment. (And I work at a dealership.) I'd suggest Krown, Fluid Film or Woolwax applied by somebody with decent experience.

I have a 3’ long 360 degree wand that goes in the frame and I use rust check. Does a great job.

unfortunately, I’m just hearing about all of this. If I take it into the dealer, will they still spray it?

Can I still take this into the dealer under warranty?
