Dash Cam for a 2004 SR5 Tacoma

Hello all,
can anyone please share with me where I could purchase a good Dash Cam. Not Amazon.
Would appreciate if anyone would offer insight/recommendation to a website where I can purchase a quality Dash Cam product.

It's just that Amazon has such a monopoly, they could give two shits about local stores. That's all. And, their return policy is a nightmare

 

Best Buy has a decent selection in store, and quite a few options online

Are you looking to install it yourself or have a shop install? In either case, perhaps patronize a local shop and see what they recommend? Shops around me like Thinkware and Blackvue. I have one of each, both have plusses and minuses but the shop may lean towards one or the other.

I may end up picking up a cheapo Garmin Mini as a travel one/extra car dash cam here shortly.

 

I will have them install it. I want one that also films rear. Too many crazy nutjobs out there.

 

Definitely go to a local reputable shop in your area. Both BlackVue and Thinkware have models that have front/rear recording.

I personally have a Thinkware U1000 in my Tacoma, and in my girlfriend’s car. No issues.

 

I love my Viofo A129. Yes I got it on Amazon but you can order them directly as well. 4K front cam and 1080P rear cam. It's tiny enough that the front fit behind my rear view mirror and I just set the rear cam up behind me. I installed it using their hardwire kit so it's always on when the car is and had sentry mode when the car is off.
