I bought a Honda Pioneer 700 Deluxe in 2019 for 12k or so. The price on this thing is ridiculous IMO. I know it's loaded with doodads, but 23k price for a no name SxS is stupid.

 

I figure this must've happened on the drive home from Centralia, because it definitely wasn't like that when we were up there; I think shitty pothole-filled roads are to blame. The tabs that are held in place by bolts snapped clean off...

 

I order a new set of taillights on Amazon, and did a temporary redneck fix (this was on Monday, and the lens has been cracked for months)...

 

Nice to know Duct tape is a close match for our silver trucks. Sorry you had to be the one to test it out.

 

What's with the whacky paint job?

The windshield in my mom's 2013 Nissan Murano got cracked while she was driving yesterday, and unlike mine, hers has to be replaced...

 

My new taillights arrived today...

 

I opted to replace only the right one for now because the left one only has a small crack, and the backup camera is tapped into it; I just don't want to accidentally mess up my backup camera again, and I will probably have my mechanic swap the lights next oil change...

 

My mom's Nissan had literally been in the same spot for almost a day, unmoved, and the crack got worse!

 

The guy from SafeLite came out today, and fixed the crack in about 20 minutes!

The sticker on that side-by-side was over $23K; it did not have a radio even a heater. There was a 4-door that did have heat, but it was like $30K!

 

Amanda was reading a book about insects; she had stumbled upon a page about wasps, and she is allergic to bees and deathly afraid of them as a result, so I suspect she read some crazy fact about them that resulted in that surprised look on her face...

 

And my parents have a higher deductible than me (I have zero for comprehensive and $100 for collision), so they are paying out of pocket to replace the windshield in the Nissan!
