Thats how I feel, I know its solid and I've invested in it with PPF, coating, volks, etc. and have had a hard time letting her go passing a few deals up now for a 24.

If you need the ECT for normal driving, what are you supposed to do when towing?

Oh right the only thing that goes in a Tacomas hitch is a Yoda cover

    What?

I'm watching for an OR with the upgrade package–not the premium–and they're as scarce as bikinis in Fairbanks.

I am somewhat reluctant to buy a first year vehicle. Having said that, I bought a new 1990 4Runner which was trouble free for 10+ years (except for blown head gasket at 96K which Toyota replaced entire short block even though it was out of warranty). I haven't checked availability or pricing for a Pro because I feel that for the first few months they will be marked up and sold to those who have to have it now/first. After Summer pricing should be at msrp but then '25s will be right around the corner, so wait a little longer?

Also, Underground would be my choice for this year but maybe I'll like next year's "special" color more (though I hear it may be the Mudbath shown on the '25 4Runner which I don't care for)

The only option on the Limited is the $395 Active Variable Suspension which puts it at 58K. A TRD OR with Premium and SDM is also 58K (both w/MAX), so quite a bit less than the 63-64K for the TH and Pro.

I doubt Toyota does anything with rates. The only time I saw special financing on Tacoma was COVID and it was limited and when manufacturers were worried no one would buy existing inventory. Maybe when they start sitting like Tundras, also never special APR on halo trims just like Ford and Raptors.

Halo trims are what people that have a personality akin to vanilla milkshakes buy to try and score internet points from 11 year old boys.

Respectfully, nobody gives a shit if you own a limited trim Tacoma.

Mudbath is likely it. Usually a new pro color disclosed on any model, trickles over to all of the other pros. So 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, Sequoia, etc.

I would really like Inferno or Supersonic Red but they are unlikely.

Tacoma Trailhunter will probably get Everest green.

Well to be honest, I'm no Jeep fan. They're good for one thing and one thing only. Decent platform to build a crawler, engines don't blow up at the slightest lean, and parts galore.
I have never had any competition from a Toyota anything that even resembles a Toyota. Period. Closest competition:

    22RET/5 speed

I'm sure you could tell that was a Toyota.

Not sure if the Pro, TH, or even a ZR2 Bison qualify as a "halo" truck. The term was originally used for the Raptor which had unique styling, suspension, and engine. The Toyota and Chevy top of the line trims have the same engines as lower trims. The Ranger Raptor and RAM TRX qualify as halo trucks.

If the Iso Seats become optional, I would want one with that option.

Former Jeep owner here (YJ) and still a fan of the older platforms, CJ, XJ. I agree that jeeps are better at crawling over stuff at low speed and such.

I still like poking fun of jeeps just because jeep culture has become so cringe with the whole rubber duck thing and the angry eyes grills, etc.

I would like to have a flat fender at some point in the future to screw around with or even a CJ-7.

I make fun of Jeep owners all the time. They are a breed on their own. Most recently was on Tuesday of this week a guy in a 392 Rubicon just couldn't wait in line at the car wash and decided to jump over a curb and didn't look to see what he was doing. Not only did he destroy some property at the car wash, I'm sure he did some damage underneath. When he got out I said "next time you need to hang outside your window and yell RUBICON to announce your stupidity. I got his plates and called the owner. He already had it on camera.

Personally, I also wouldn't be taking a 40k to whatever dollar anything off-road that I was relying to get me to work on Monday...let alone a payment on.

I saw a base Colorado in GM quicksand didn't know that was an option on lower trims. I forgot it was available on ZR2 and Z71.
