Welp I lost my shit on my nephew today at work. He's been working with me for 3 weeks now and still screwing up doing the same shit that I keep telling him not too do. I tried with everything I had in me not to blow up on him. But didn't work out in my or his favor. Smh I'm starting to think this isn't the job for him. Granted it's his first job ever but if I tell you multiple times not to do something but you continue to do it. I dint what else to say.

Came home today from work to my mom finding an old photo album. Just so happens to be my dad’s birthday… in that album one of the only few photos of me and him and… his Toyota in June of 89.
Made me smile, so figured I had to share.

 

This generation is definitely not really labor or skilled labor job ready with the way they grew up (not all of them but most). It also makes it that much worse when it's family.

Yeah met the guy a while ago and I heard it was a misunderstanding yesterday thru a local club, but again not sure the validity of that

 

We have another 17yr that works with us. But the difference is he grew up on a farm. I worked with him yesterday and the kid is a beast I didn't even have to think twice with him. But your absolutely right this new generation is just lazy and hard headed.
Also me yelling at him is probably better than a boss yelling at him.

 

Everybody gives 18 year olds shit for getting participation trophies when they were growing up, but who are the ones that gave them out? Their parents who found it easier to reward everybody vs dealing with upset kids. Then they just handed them an iPad instead of parenting.

 

Agree , maybe he needs this, it may sink in tonight.
