i'd still take a corvette over any car you have listed for overall performance.

 

Let’s not give Toyota any ideas. I would hope a Toyota / Briggs & Stratton partnership is not in the works.

 

I don't think they would be too far a part, point being there are a lot of performance machines that have the potential to steal sales away from the Corvette.

I've ridden in C8 and a Hellcat Challenger at a Barrett Jackson Autocross event. Both cars are stupid fast and handle. The Hellcat is just brutal, violent and steers best with the throttle. The C8 is very refined and deceptively fast at building speed. The C8 will corner on rails too. Two completely different vehicles, but both a ton a fun. For me I prefer the Hellcat. It's just a disgustingly violent, loud and awesome vehicle. If you want a race car get the C8 if you want hooligan nonsense grinning good times get the Hellcat. I'm really surprised the Hellcats are street legal. The Scatpack 392's are a blast too.

Also rode in a Mustang GT there, but the Mustang wasn't in the same ballpark as the C8 and Hellcat. It also struggled around the corners. What they say about mustangs is true. They don't corner.

Imagine the snail exhaust pipe on that thing.

 

Because it’s a useless 3lt pack that adds nothing but fluff for a 20k over a 1lt.

 

Mustangs haven’t gained any performance since 2014. Still running the same engine and chassis with some lipstick

i thought they redid the chassis for 2024. i can't find the changes, and a quick google talked more more about style and interior.

hopefully they fixed the clutch... almost bought a used one, but the clutch had me running for the hills
