One practical reason to have attendants is to keep traffic moving so people aren't hanging out in their cars blocking the gas pump. Scrolling, checking email, eating, etc

 

I drive through Milford once in a while, but never got gas there. Next time I'm there i'll look for it.

I used to live in Hopedale and we would get yelled at at the Mobil in Milford
next to 495 for pumping our own when they took to long.
I don't mind letting someone else do it but be quick or don't bitch.

There are plenty of gas stations in Hopedale, Bellingham, and even Mendon.

BTW, the old Draper factory has been torn down and some sort of housing development is supposed to be going up there.

What are you going to gain by filling the tank so much an extra 10-15 miles at best? Seems pointless to me, and before you posted I would have tried filling the tank like literally every other person does and see if the problem continues. When I was young my grandma would always tell my cousin, my brother, and me not to touch the waffle maker because it’s very hot! My cousin decided one day that he would test what she said by kissing the waffle maker (I’m not kidding) he burnt the hell out of his lips and needed to go to the er. He looked like he had got lip injections for a weeks. You seem like you would be the one to kiss the waffle maker.

Of course it’s real. Look up the video of the asshole filling an 80 gallon trash can in the back of an open pickup. That happened here in Austin right as the hurricane Harvey price gouging started.
