I think I will still be able to use the MORE mount if I pickup my ABS Mod. and slide the bracket in underneath it. And then I will reposition my power steering res and stand the tank there with a custom mount. Should have checked that out on MOREs website b4 ordering..

I went with a on board single arb compressor with the air up kit. I like having the onboard because it fits under the hood is always there and it can work to activate your airlockers if you ever plan to add them.

Worked out with the M.O.R.E. mount.. had to flatten out the factory abs bracket and re-bend in new locations, re-route the abs wiring (easy), and slightly adjust the bend of the brake lines coming out of the top of the module. Simple bracket to make for the tank, single bracket to make for the power steering res. Which will mount to the outside of my k&n box.

Yea I know she is a bit dirty.. 20240531_233757.jpg20240601_004625.jpg

We can't trust your advice if you don't even know the color of your own truck.

It’s all in the little details that make a huge difference in the final meaning. I even gave an obvious hint in the picture I posted.

All in good fun though. I used the Slee off-road bracket to mount an ARB compressor in my 3rd gen.

Cavalry - a bunch of dudes on horses and the origin of the blue-hued uniforms the paint color is named for.

Calvary - the place Jesus was crucified and nothing to do with Toyota.

Yes, your truck is 100% not calvary blue. Thats not even a color Toyota uses.

But it’s not. Thats all I was making the joke about but it seems to have completely gone over your head even after being clearly explained.

He means the spelling of the color is incorrect.

Let's see...the thread was about onboard or portable air....

I had a Smitybuilt portable compressor. Ended up installing a Rough Country compressor instead. Mounted in the truck bed cubby.

I second this. I personally run a modified version of the NAPA Twin Compressor (No Longer Called The Maxi).

I believe I used a 1/8" x 1.5" brass nipple to a 1/8" x 1/4" Tee then wired in a pressure switch as well as a standard 1/4" female air chuck. I'm also currently adding an 1/4" x 18" braided stainless leader from the Tee to the Chuck. This should help bleed off some of the heat from the compressor into the air hose.

I recently tried rapidly airing up two vehicles (33's & 35's) consecutively without any cool off period and blew my air hose on the last tire because of excessive heat.

All in all it's been a great compressor for me and very affordable even with the mods. There are several YouTube videos on making modifications if that's your thing.
