Which casino do you work at?

I was at work last night, Christmas Eve/Christmas morning, and then again tonight, Christmas night, which I am getting 2 1/2 times pay for :D. It's my normal shift mon-fri 10pm-6am  . I work as a dispatcher in the 'control center' for the Las Vegas Convention Center and we are here 24/7. There is nothing going on and only the security staff is present, so that makes for a nice quiet, but loooong night.

I had to work New Years eve for 6 years prior to my current job. I was scheduled to work it this year and last, but got switched with someone else so I can spend the week in the sand dunes away from the kaos in Vegas.

Which airline do you fly for? Most of the part-time F-15 pilots at the FANG are airline pilots also.

I'm heading out Wednesday as soon as I get off, the BF is heading out Tues after work. 5 days in the sand  fantastic. Too bad you have to work all the New Years, it's nice to get away from the crazies. And you will be working the night shift when all the freaks are out  good luck!!

Dang I see there's a couple of you guys in the medical or emergency field as well. I also have New Year's Eve off because I work 0800-1700 that day but we have these little things called pagers we pack around. Those little bastards go off, then back to the Firehouse we go to grab an engine! And New Year's Eve, they go off at least a few times that night, ATLEAST!!! Wheee!!! Oh well, this is what I signed up for!!! "It's not reality, its actuality!" Thats that phrase off of TRU TV! Haha!:D

New year's eve and new year's day -- working. Put it this way if it's not on a FRI or SAT, or I didn't put in for time off, then I'll be at work.
