I'm just trying to get the factory bumper back on but I'm being told by the shop that the bed sides and all the sensors are on backorder. They're monitoring wrecking yards but so far no luck. I never had much interest in a high clearance bumper but the longer this takes the more I'm thinking on it. I don't care about the sensors but I need the bed side either way obviously.

And as cool as a flat bed would be, those are pretty spendy (the prefab ones with the storage compartments), not sure the insurance companies would go for that. And I'd have to change my entire set up...which would be fun but again, expensive. I really just want it back the way it was. Ugh.

The shop is now trying to get approval from the insurance company for an entire pre-assembled OEM bed rather than piecing it together. Apparently that's quicker to get but more expensive. I should know by next week. Oh and the shop did say they're gonna find the decal and reapply it. Haha

Camping season is here...I want my truck back! :frusty:

Do your own research, but I was perfectly fine and much more comfortable at 32psi when I had E rated ko2s. 44 is wayyy too high. You can always do the chalk test after you set the new pressure to make sure you aren't too concave in the middle.

Be aware that you reduce your truck’s load capacity if you don’t inflate LT tires correctly. Running them soft may be more comfortable, but it’s not what the tire manufacturers recommend.

Over with @wahoobie of Tidewater Customs,LLC for the new Yotawerx weekend warrior tune.
From the moment you hit the gas pedal the difference is noticeable and impressive. Very happy this is one of my first mods.
Chris is a great guy and does a great job. Thanks again20240601_093524.jpg

they body lift is separate from the body mounts. i just to happen to discover the body mount was bad while installing the kit which is a toytec kit. only thing you have to do to access front body mounts is remove the grill. ive seen other guys say they had to remove bumper but i seen no reason too.

rest of the body lift in today. waiting on my c4 inner fenders and will get the 35s put on. going with body lift because the 35s hit the top inner fenders at full bump and i didnt want to sacrifice any uptravel or hack up that part of the engine bay yet. ran 1" bl on my previous tacoma with 35s for many years with great luck. this is 4" total lift with 33s now which kinda makes them look small.

Installed a set of CaliRaisedLED catalytic converter shields this morning. Took less than 40 minutes including the time spend trying to find the security bit dropped on the driveway. Nice product.

That red cable looks awfully thin. What gauge is it? You may consider connecting with a 8-6 gauge, depending what you are running off the fuse box. Just a thought.

Didn’t like the Oedros? I sold mine without ever installing them. Going with sliders.

No they’re cheap and not the right look. Got these weep holes in them that rusty water started pouring out of when I pulled the grommet off. I got them for door ding defenders and I can’t seem to like them. I might do sliders or make ones. Not sure right now but they’re not going back on.
