2024 DE Meet-Up Sat 22Jun24 -11am

You all should do a meet up on the Cape May Ferry that leaves from Lewes. Load up the boat
full of Taco's. Float over to Jersey and float back over to Delaware.

 

I've done that as a pedestrian going from Lewes to Cape May for Garden State Craft Brewers Guild some years back.

Sampled beers at Cape May then returned back to Lewes to close out the day.

This was the only event and did not happen the following year.

I've been to Wildwood with wife and some friends...that was enough for me...lol!

 

Update:

I just called Taco Grande and they recommend getting RSVP as early as possible so....

Doing a Roll Call.

Did you guys decide on a time yet? Unfortunately I probably can’t stay long but I think I can make it for a least a little bit just to meet everyone.

 

I’m going to be on a fishing boat trying to catch my legal limit of 1 rockfish between 19 and 24” long.
Then I think we’re supposed to try for drum or something else if we reach the limit.

 

No time is decided.

Last year, when we met up in Delaware City...I projected 11am and possibly taking a tour of Fort Delaware/Pea Patch Island.

Members started showing up at Crabby Dicks around noon...I had already reserved a seating area--good thing we got there early!

Not sure how this will work out at Taco Grande because it's a more densely populated area and lots of school sports teams hold meet-ups there.

They open at 11am on Saturdays...so, that first hour would probably be good before it gets too busy.

If you guys can only stay for short time to meet/greet members, that's perfectly fine.

If you guys wanna stay for Brunch, let me get a head count so I can make RSVP.

Also, let me know what time is good.

 

I'm about 83% sure I can make it and I could do any time late morning/early afternoon.

I'm hoping to be there but, as of right now, I'm apparently scheduled to serve as a Range Safety Officer

 

I’ll be solo if I can make it, which is still looking very likely.
