I turned 300k a few weeks ago (photo on phone, can't post from pc). This week turned 307k miles.
With that said. Enjoy your 3rd gens for a while. I'm not sure if many have racked up the miles as fast as I did but I can tell you they where all trouble free. Nothing more than routine maintenance. Consistently 19.5 city and 22.5 hwy mpg. Never burned a drop of oil. I've traded her in for a new Sierra 1500 AT4 with the LZ0 3.0. Needed to move back into a full size for towing and work but the new Tundra scares me. I have not been active here is a while simply because everything has been so routine and life get crazy. I'm going to go sit on the bench now but if any of you are getting up in miles and have questions feel free to DM me here.

Enjoy! And thank you for the community and guidance.

This is a helpful site for determining pressure when changing tire size or load rating.

Cleaning this thing is a pain, as I’m sure you all can appreciate. I hemmed and hawed and finally went with a car cover meant for a ford excursion and I’m pretty happy with the fit! Picture of the rig in the wild for reference (RTT, front rack, etc).

Awesome to hear. I think the majority of 3rd gen owners will experience this scenario.@bigoldbeef is approaching 400k.

Looks great! But be careful in the rain with those! Ko2s slip a lot when it’s wet, a friend of mine just totaled their 4Runner after their ko2’s hydroplaned on the highway

I’ve ran BFG’s for 30 years, and have never hydroplaned, but I slow down when it’s raining that hard! It doesn’t matter what tire you have if you are going to fast for conditions!

I think the OEM size is either a “metric” or “P-metric,” not an LT.

I like that. Have same color and same wheels and I hate the wheels. But also they work great and I can't justify the expense to change them just for aesthetic value. So I've wondered how much a different set of tires would change the look. I saw one guy on here has some really big tires on them and they looked great. I'm not going that big and your pics confirm that even modestly oversized tires will make a big difference. Thank you!

That isn’t terrible. What happens to the hitch when you relocate the bumper. Sorry for the questions but I have never messed with a body lift.

Added 2x 3 gal Rotopax fuel cans in preparation for a longer road trip. Bought the blemished ones for about 50% off full price and can’t see anything wrong with them.

Felt the same way about my '17 OR in black, ended up slapping some Wildpeaks on and it definitely helps.

I'm actually leaning towards picking up a set of these factory wheels for my '21 sport (I prefer a smaller wheel) to fit some skinny 33s.

If use “common sense,” and slow down during raining conditions, not doing “Fast and Furious,” nobody going hydroplane.:D

I saw these a while back, I wish I could take credit! White letter 285/75 BFG’s with a Flat cap off a 16” trd beadlock looks great! FYI, they don’t fit without wheel machine work modifications I read and confirmed.

Well, I installed them yesterday morning. Took about 3 hour from start to finish. Very straightforward instructions and I watched a few videos of installations beforehand to have a good visual of the process. I adjusted/compressed coils to about 3 3/8" of threads showing between collar and black base...less than max 99mm. After a 100 miles yesterday, settled to 2" of lift so far. I did give driver side an extra 1/8" to reduce the lean. Very initial impressions are great...less body roll on turns and less/no nose diving while braking. I have air bags in the rear so that's how I'm currently raising rear an extra inch.20240602_114642.jpg

Upgraded the latch on my swing out. Original Southco latch lasted about 2 years before it started to feel loose. Went with an E3 Machine Ultimate. Took advantage of the Memorial Day sale.

    Hey TW,

Before i spend a lot of money on new aftermarket fogs was going to try a vinyl film first to see if I like the orange. Question: The OEM fog lights get very hot when only for only a minute or so do you guys think vinyl is a bad idea?
