My other truck is a 22 Tacoma SR5 2wd a/c. <—— justified my recent 22 Tacoma Pro purchase. ;-)

 

Been loving my white truck/dark blue wheel combo

 

What rims are these?

 

They are 5 spoke 16" FJ Cruiser wheels.

 

Used a ceramic wash and wax from turtle wax. Cleaned up very nice.

 

It is hot in Sacramento lately so I measured the temp of the roof of my white '23 3gen vs my dad's '23 MGM Highlander parked next to me. The measurements were made carefully using approx. the same distance, angle (perpendicular), and location on roof between the two vehicles. Over 10 repeats were done on each color with < 1 deg variation to assure repeatability.

I made the measurements because we both agreed the temp difference inside the parked vehicles and the temp on the roof as measured by one's hand was great. We could hold a hand indefinitely on my white roof but the MGM roof was too hot to touch for any length of time.

My last 4 trucks have been white specifically for the heat performance, this kills any question whether I should have spec'd MGM.

White consistently measured 104F whereas MGM measured 142F. The shadow resulting from recording the MGM image was not present while making the measurements.

Anyone have the bronze trail wheels on a white Tacoma? I’m thinking of switching my Pro from black to bronze and am curious how this looks.

 

I’m basically driving a limo at this point

 

What brand and model topper is that? I like it and I've been thinking of getting one just like it - can you send me more pics and details?

 

Its a Leer XR ... standard windows, don't expect perfect paint match

I feel like you will notice but not many others will. At least that’s how I feel about mine. All my buddies say they can’t tell the difference in paint but I do. So it’s probably not that’s bad.

 

Yeh, I can see a slighttt mis match but it's really not noticeable. I can definitely live with that! Thanks again - appreciate the pics and info.

 

I’ve seen some of the other colors on the tacos that are way worse. I’ve seen a couple Lunar Rock caps that didn’t match well at all.
