I don't own a Taco but damn that is a cool, cool bumper. It is very similar to the Nyguyen bumper on my 4Runner.

since you guys are so focused on the backend- this is a HOT back end:

    IMG_1142.jpg

But, how about some sexy front looks? This is the front bumper I am going to build with modifications. Don't have any idea whose, but like the look. Going to be modified for my applications... and a Bull Bar just because I love'em for no rational reason. My skid is different and I have the receiver up there so it will have a different groove, but this is the idea.

The stick is just a limiter.

:101010: that's a good looking piece, esp with those tree bars!

The salt did more to cause deep rust than trail scratches ever did, judging from that fact there was no rust around any of the deep scratches on mine. I don’t think we’ll be able to blame Pat’s scratchy trails :p.

I just finished spray painting my second slider! Leaving it outside and hoping birds don’t poop on it.

Mine came with a bunch of brackets and stuff for mounting. Do you normally paint that stuff too?

Aw crap, I forgot the brackets! Guess Im not done painting lol. Still got to clean up the rust, they look like they’re fresh off the titanic.

edit: I panicked a little when forgot where they were. I hid them im my tool box to keep them safe.
    IMG_3799.jpg

Judging from this picture, the rust is not the strongest endorsement for painting. I’m thinking they couldn’t be
much worse if installed as unpainted steel lol

Man none of my stuff looks that bad, and I have to drive through salt yards for work.

Maybe ace hardware paint really is that good lol

Those words give me hope lol.

I don’t mind touch ups, but I’m not doing another deep-sea salvage restoration lol.

Yeah, I love that rear bumper. Definitely in my top 3, and I appreciate the response! DM en route with more questions...

I installed these in summer of 2021. Three full winters, but the
powder coat was already bubbling after two.

I’ve heard that powder coating might NOT be the ideal solution.

After my experience with powdercoated sliders, I'm recommending against it to anyone who asks. And, even some people who didn't ask. :D

That is a nice looking bumper.
    On my list.
After I fix the riding lawnmower. I had to do recovery the other day.
After I build a retaining wall.
After I get the Mazda Tribute taken care of.
After I get my roof rack side lights installed.

You'll have that bumper in no time.

I was about to change the drive belt on my mower until I saw what had to all come apart.
I'll just wait until it breaks.:D
