Motorcycles have introduced me to more random people/friends than I can count at this point. I was out riding one day and two guys on supermotos pulled up next to me at a stop sign and were liking my bike asking where I was headed... since the answer was "nowhere" (as usual) I rode along with them for a bit and we've met up a few times since. Went out yesterday with this crew and put about 250 miles on the Husky. The guy on the beemer ended up wanting his DRZ instead so we stopped by his place for him to switch bikes. Also forgot how loud those dry clutches are that Duc was making a racket lol

(sorry poor quality pics phone is still busted)

I run max coverage in all categories with a low deductible on bikes. It's not cheap.

So if you run minimum coverage on a dirtbike it will be practically nothing

Nah. Dual sport at best, and if I'm risking injury I want max coverage. Same reason I got amulance/life flight insurance when I got my bike. If something goes wrong I want to not worry as much about the financial side of things.

That sounds like an amazing playground with more than enough amenities to have a phenomenal time. Been meaning to do some travel out your way to have a look at potentially relocating... A moto camp would incentivize me to get out there to see that part of the country!

Yeah man they are so fun definitely my favorite bike!

That 690 is a 2014 Enduro he converted, still has the dirt wheels/tires for it and think he said I could have them if I wanted.

    The dollar amounts for damages/injuries.

It's all "full coverage" I just tell my insurance I want the maximum values.

What about a Grom? In my case insurance went down because the multi vehicle discount was bigger than the cost of insuring the Grom.

Then you can also practice wheelies!

Full coverage generally means you're insuring your vehicle. Most owners carry full coverage when they have a loan out and the bank requires it or the bike is of sufficient value that the owner can't just replace it from personal savings. Max coverage implies the owner has chosen the highest levels of insurance offered. In PA for example minimum coverage is something like 15/30k or 15k for what damage or expenses may have been incurred by one individual( that you hit) and 30k means that's the total limit for all the damage you may have caused. With medical costs being what they are if you accidentally struck a pedestrian crossing the street you would burn through that in a heartbeat. Max coverage is more around 250/500k or even higher depending on your state and insurance company.

    watching shortly. Im really interested.

But in the build configurator, Im annoyed that I had to add the premium package to get cruise control. I also didnt do the offroad package, as I would buy my own tires.
