I just purchased a TRD Pro skidplate for $360 shipped from Courtesy Toyota in Florida. I had a pro skid on my '19, they are much better than the stock OR skid plates. Looking forward to seeing Nightcrawler with new armorScreenshot_20240525_213104_Chrome.jpg 20240429_194220.jpg

I am not in a huge hurry, I waited 4 months for the truck and everywhere else was $450 plus shipping.

Can you access the oil filter without removing it?

If your arm is long enough. They designed 2 bolts stay in and just rotate the plate for easy removal. I got mine for $360 shipped on Memorial day discount. Took 15 mins to install.

Do you have to remove the skidplate to drain the oil?

Gotcha, thought maybe there was a small access plate on it that I believe the previous trd pro skidplate had.

No access hole. I was suprised at how large and heavy this thing is. The shipment details said 40 lb box and i thought no way but yep, its about 35 lbs.20240606_190545~2.jpg 20240606_190545~2.jpg

I would bet that within a year or 2 they will add the access hole since the 3rd gen had it. Should already have one.

I believe there will be way more protection than with the composite "skidplate". That thing was useless. The first trip I took with my '19 I dented the sheet metal skid. I figured I would beat myself to the punch with this one lol.

Did yours come with specific bolts for the skid plate or did you reuse the ones already on the truck for the plastiplates

Used stock bolts with mine. I believe I actually had 2 extra once installed as the front two middle are unused.
